I have a passion for assisting individuals of all ages who are dealing with a variety of struggles, including depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+-related issues, trauma, and life changes. I believe that at the core of many of our struggles is an underlying need to improve our self-worth and a desire to feel empowered.
I value and practice gender-affirming care and use a variety of evidence-based approaches- with a focus on strength-based and wellness techniques. I have worked with clients from differing backgrounds, including, but not limited to, adult sex offenders, victims of sexual assault, bullying issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, LGBTQ+ individuals, and life transitions.
I have worked within an inpatient setting, as well as private practice. At the end of the day, we all have ways we can grow, and one of the ways to do so is by allowing ourselves to be vulnerable so we can learn more about who we are and how we connect with others. By modeling genuineness and empathy, I build strong therapeutic relationships with my clients.
